"I'm borderline diabetic," she said after an annual visit to the Doctor. Yep, know how many times I've heard this? A lot. I was also borderline diabetic; seems to be common as you age and don't move as much. So what can you do about it? Are you doomed to become diabetic? Not if you get on it now. Strength training, eating clean and moving; all of these help you be a better you. Of course you need to start with short, light workouts first. Strength training can help:
- Improve insulin sensitivity
- Improve glucose tolerance
- Help you lose weight
- Lower your risk for heart disease
